> Alvaro Figueroa is a Chilean musician. Arranger, composer and multi-instrumentalist, he has a career spanning more than 18 years in various musical styles.
Alvaro has taken part in over 30 festivals around the world, representing Chile and Latin American culture. He has produced two albums of auteur music and collaborated on dozens of musical productions. He is currently working on various projects involving auteur music, poetry and Latin rhythms.

The ANACAONA all-female orchestra was founded in 1932 by Conception Castro Zaldarriaga and her sisters, becoming Son's first all-female septeto. In 1934, it expanded into jazz band and charanga formats. Between the 40s and 60s, these musicians toured North and South America, as well as France. They took part in numerous films in Mexico. Sisters Georgia and Dora Aguirre, graduates of the "Amadeo Roldán" Conservatory, began working with the orchestra's founders in 1983, under the direction of Alicia Castro, who passed the torch to Georgia in December 1987. She thus consolidated a style that combines tradition and modernity to preserve and enrich the orchestra's history and uninterrupted work on the Cuban and international music scene, performing all over the world. Today, it is made up of thirteen talented musicians and represents one of the greatest orchestras of Cuban popular music.
