From the tragic story of "Dido and Aeneas" and the masterpiece it inspired in Purcell, Blanca Li draws a choreographic interpretation of fascinating freedoḿ both timeless and contemporary, carried by the 10 dancers of her company.
The Académie des Beaux-Arts has four seats dedicated to the world of dance. Three of these seats are occupied by choreographers who have already worked at Vaison Danses over the past two years: Carolyn Carlson, Thierry Malandain and Angelin Preljocaj (who returns in 2025). On July 19, Vaison Danses is delighted to welcome Blanca Li, who occupies the 4th and final seat!
