The Brass Band is a large orchestra composed exclusively of brass and percussion instruments. Widespread in Great Britain, brass bands are both popular and serious, festive and classical, dazzling and delicate!

2000 saw the birth of the latest troublion in the majestic Brass Band family: the Brass Band Méditerranée, or "BBMed" to its friends, led by Olivier Mauny, professor of trumpet at the Conservatoire de Musique et d'Art Dramatique d'Antibes Juan-les-Pins. The group's activities are extremely varied: convivial "Brass and Breakfast" concerts accompanied by a Sunday morning breakfast, charity concerts, concerts at the Opéra de Nice, the Palais des Congrès, in churches, for private companies, for festivals throughout the PACA region, organization of the Antibes International Tuba Competition... To name but a few! And the BBmed has not finished surprising...
