Christmas in Cuers

Every year, the town of Cuers is transformed into an enchanted village. The festivities kick off on 29 and 30 November with the traditional Santon Fair at the Cultural Centre. On 29 November, the inauguration of the nativity scene at Notre-Dame de l'Assomption church officially marks the opening of the season. On 2 December, Cuers lights up. Father Christmas's parade, the inauguration of the illuminations and a concert by the municipal music school bring residents and families together for a convivial evening.

December will be marked by a host of events for young and old alike. Children can enjoy the Christmas Village, shows such as "Le Cirque Enchanté de Noël", "La Planète aux Bonbons" and a concert by Anne Carrère. A number of creative workshops will also be on offer, including the "Christmas Card" and "Christmas Delicacies" workshops.

From 2 to 24 December, the Christmas Market will be taking place in Place François Bernard. Crafts, delicacies and gift ideas will be on offer in a warm and friendly atmosphere. Other highlights include Saint-Nicolas on 7 December, the Motorbike Santas and the Muleteers on 24 December.

The programme includes a number of cultural highlights, including a concert by the Chœur du Sud, a concert by the municipal music school, and a Christmas-themed Micro-Folie screening.
Between traditions, family events, cultural moments and solidarity actions, the town offers a month of December under the sign of sharing and conviviality, come one, come all!
