Le XXe, a cultural centre, offers an exhibition dedicated to the heritage of the 20th century in the Pays S.U.D. This interpretation centre recounts the tremendous adventure of the 20th century: white coal, the arrival of the tractor, the development of tourism, holiday camps and solar houses are just some of the themes covered in the permanent exhibition. There's also a shop area where you can immerse yourself in the joyous modernity of the 1960s, with an exclusive selection of design objects emblematic of the era. You'll also be able to take away a souvenir that reflects the history of Serre-Ponçon and the new village of Savines-le-Lac, which has been designated a 20th-century heritage site. Take part in a guided tour, workshop or architecture café organised by the Pays d'Art et d'Histoire.
