Synopsis: Bandian lives in the small Guinean village of Makono, deep in the forest. He's not yet 13 years old. Yet, it's clear he has the makings of a great football player. Madame Aspirine, a young Western doctor who has taken a liking to him, gives him a leather ball. Bandian is delighted, but he misuses it so badly that he's forced to flee his village.
