Meeting with the student association De Film en Aiguille, for an exchange at the end of the screening.
Synopsis: During World War II, a plane carrying boys from England's upper class, sent by their parents to Australia during the Blitz, crashes on a deserted island. Only the children survive. Left to their own devices in a wild and idyllic setting, the children attempt to organize themselves by replicating the social structures they have been taught. But their group falls apart, giving way to a savage and violent tribal organization built around a charismatic leader. Civilization disappears, leading to a return to a near-animalistic state, a fate for which the most vulnerable or sensible children will pay with their lives.
