Synopsis: Born to dance, Neneh is a 12 year old black girl who has just entered the Paris Opera Ballet School.
Despite her enthusiasm, she will have to work hard to break away from her condition and be accepted by the school's director, Marianne Belage. The latter is the guarantor of tradition and the bearer of a secret that links her to the little ballerina.
