Before starting work on bodies in movement, Adrioano Bolognino identified the expressive quality of creation through costumes, involving a group of women gathered in a "Crochet Club" during the pandemic.
The story goes that crochet was born of the talent and imagination of a woman who, fascinated by the beauty and perfection of snowflakes, decided to reproduce their wonder with a simple crochet needle and cotton thread. Something unique and irreplaceable in its spontaneity. By interweaving these elements, the choreographer wants the spectator to be overwhelmed by a sudden fall of moving bodies, suspending time in a state of serene contemplation. This choreography has been composed like a crochet work: a complex, sophisticated plot, a conscious weaving that generates new forms.
