Émilie receives a mysterious postcard from the 1960s. This sign from the past takes her and her companion Constant on a road trip that is as burlesque as it is existential.
An accident disrupts their journey: thrown into a strange suspension of time, Émilie and Constant traverse a world blending memories, fantasies, and hidden truths.
The stage becomes a hybrid, somewhere between live theater and miniature cinema: models manipulated in full view, a camera filming live, and video projections immerse the viewer in a shifting universe where reality, imagination, and memory intertwine. Family Tales & Legends weaves with humor and poetry an intimate fresco about family inheritance, self-reconstruction, and the eternal quest for meaning.
