La Sultane, the title of his fifth album released in 2025, draws inspiration from André Manoukian's Armenian origins.
On stage, the artist likes to say that his Eastern origins are also those of our Western music. His piano becomes his intimate memory, his cultural heritage, a language of tenderness.
Between East and West, his compositions, supported by the spectacular phrasing of Mosin Kawa's Indian tablas and Guillaume Latil's cello, paint a borderless horizon, Levantine arabesques like so many initiatory paths, labyrinths and meanders that seem to follow the twists and turns of our memories.
