Perfumers in Grasse since the turn of the century and celebrating 100 years in 2026, Maison Fragonard has been collecting perfume objects from Antiquity to the present day for several generations.
The historic Fragonard factory's Museum of Perfume, on the 3rd floor, invites visitors to discover the history of perfume and its precious objects, bottles and artifacts. Each historical period is illustrated olfistically by different raw materials, such as incense for Antiquity, Bergamot for the Middle Ages. For the contemporary period, essences used in the composition of eaux de Cologne are offered alongside rose, the queen flower of the Grasse perfumer.
