This 2-hour walking tour explores astronomy and the history of the Observatoire de Nice. The tour departs on foot from the Observatoire de la Côte d'Azur gate. After climbing Mont-Gros and overcoming the last few steps of Chemin Garnier, you'll discover the "Universarium" museum space, which will make you wonder about our origins and our place in the Universe - Where do we come from? Where are we? Who are we? - and enter the Grande Coupole, with its façade designed by Charles Garnier, to admire its majestic 18-metre-long historic telescope beneath the immense metal dome designed by a talented engineer, Gustave Eiffel.
