Katell Boisneau and Matthieu Tomi play and compose together. They formed the Duo Impressionniste in 2017. "One is a harpist and circus artist, the other is a bassist and composer for live performance.

Since their collaboration in the circus arts with Cie s'évapore, Katell Boisneau and Matthieu Tomi have been performing and composing together. They formed the Duo Impressionniste in 2017. "One is a harpist and circus artist, the other is a bassist and composer for live performance. Their travels, explorations of their land and chance encounters are the sources that feed the warmth and fabulous caress of their scores. There's little point in explaining their music, so much so that it seems to come from elsewhere, from countries that don't exist. The notes run over all our senses to remind them of their fantastic nostalgic and erotic functions. Harp and bass merge in a language of great clarity, allowing them to dialogue freely in spellbinding tension." Sidney Cadot-Sambosi Le Duo Impressionniste released their eponymous debut album in 2019 and are currently composing a new album, (scheduled for release in 2026)
