Second date for the 20th edition of the Grimaldines festival.
The theme of this second evening is 'North America', with Eagle-Eye Cherry taking to the stage at the château at 10pm.
As always, the show starts in the streets at 7pm. Food truck and restaurants on site.
The son of jazz trumpeter Don Cherry and younger brother of singer Neneh Cherry, Eagle-Eye Cherry was immersed in the world of music from an early age. He spent part of his childhood on the road, accompanying his father on tour: this is how he discovered his taste for music and the life of an artist.
At the age of twelve, he was sent to drama school in New York and stayed there until he was 26, acting (he made several film appearances, notably in 1991 in The Doors, a film directed by Oliver Stone and shown this summer in Grimaud as part of the "Cinés au Château" series), or joining several bands as a drummer.
Organised by Grimaud Tourist Office.
