"Stealth love is pleasurable for men; it is also pleasurable for women; but men are bad at concealment, women are better at hiding their desires".
This quotation from Ovid, a Latin author who lived in the 1st century AD, is taken from his work L'Art d'aimer, in which he gives advice on seduction. 2000 years on, what can we make of this advice? Are they still up to date, or representative of a time and a society?
After a presentation by the author, participants are invited to pair up, draw a phrase from the book and take 5 minutes to discuss the subject. They will then change interlocutors and draw a new sentence.
A collective discussion will close this first speed-dating in the collections, and lead us to reflect on couples' relationships on the eve of Valentine's Day.
