From October 15, 2025, to February 14, 2026, discover the special exhibition “Between Sea and Light: Provençal Artists Through the Ages” at the Museum of Art and Folklore in Cassis.

The museum's winter exhibition is dedicated to the artistic richness of Provence, a land of inspiration and creativity. This joint exhibition brings together three captivating themes that offer a multifaceted and fascinating vision of Provence.

Patrice Léonard: from Comex to canvas
Painter and diver Patrice Léonard is known for his marine works, landscapes, and his taste for adventure and color.

Christ Vivanti: The Timelessness of Cassis
Art lovers will also be moved by the paintings of Christ Vivanti, an artist who has devoted much of his work to views of the port of Cassis.

The Great Provençal Painters: a journey through the region's history
The third section of the exhibition pays tribute to the masters of Provençal art. From Raphaël Ponson to Félix Ziem, via Joseph Garibaldi, Édouard Crémieux, Marius Guindon, and many others, these painters have immortalized the beauty of the region's landscapes.
