Color, joy and optimism are still very much present in Nicole Reynaud's paintings. She likes to paint on canvas with her fingers, using few brushes. For her, the sensation of touch evokes a dialogue, a caress, sometimes a struggle with the canvas. Portraits and gazes, especially of women, are a window onto the soul.
