Collectif EncreD'art - Sharing the art of engraving
"From the Dutch Golden Age to the present day
"From the Dutch Golden Age to the present day
Joce Jacquelin, Carole Truchi-Chesnoy, Virginie Carré-Renner, Sabine Knoll and Paul Roy combine their talents and experience around a common passion: printmaking. These five printmakers, united by years of practice and friendship, founded the EncreD'art association to share their love of printmaking with the public.
In their studio, they experiment and combine traditional techniques with contemporary approaches: linocut, intaglio, etching, aquatint, drypoint, soft varnish... Each work bears witness to a precise gesture, a search for material and a sensitive view of today's world.
This exhibition offers an opportunity to discover the world of engraving, to understand its processes and to admire creations that dialogue with the heritage of the old masters while resonating with today's artistic questioning.
It's a real immersion in the richness and diversity of this demanding and ever-changing art form.
