From Saturday 29 July to Tuesday 8 August, artist Jean PETER is given carte blanche at the Maison des Consuls at the top of the old village of Eygalières.
EYGALIERES TERRE d'ARTISTES is organising its 4th exhibition of the year.
Jean Peter has been living in the village for more than 20 years, and for this exhibition he will be exhibiting his work on cardboard. He has been working on this for over a year. Around twenty works will be on show. With cardboard, he has found the grain he was looking for, a new contact. Jean Peter plays with colours, while remaining fairly sober: each one inspires him and has its own language, he says.
Everything that hangs on the walls speaks, refers to the lived experience and the human. How does he manage to arouse emotion when at first glance there is nothing but abstraction?
