Michel Stavron's paintings, imbued with the wild beauty of nature, captivate the eye. The Paysages et natures mortes exhibition invites you on a sensory voyage into the heart of the Provencal light.
Through his paintings, Michel Stavron pays homage to Provence, the luminous land of his childhood. He seeks to capture the magic of landscapes and still lifes, their changing light and ephemeral atmosphere.
‘For me, painting is a way of paying homage to nature,’ he explains. ‘Light, with its variations according to the time of day and the weather, creates a symphony of colours that makes each moment unique and fleeting. I try to capture and immortalise these fleeting moments.
