Claude Corbier, Fabienne Degroise-Joekel and Véronique Persy invite you to discover the “Nouvelle escale” exhibition at Galery Barthélémy de Don from May 08 to 21.
CLAUDE CORBIER's artistic apprenticeship in Barcelona in the 70s and 80s left him with a strong sense of freedom. Since then, he has cultivated a taste for research and experimentation, culminating in an approach to purity and abstraction, abusing his photographs to bend them to his imagination. Poetry, dreamlike images, sensations: it's up to you to dive into her visions and extract their intimate treasures.

FABIENNE DEGROISE-JOEKEL, a German-born French artist based in Nîmes, explores the mysteries of clay sculpture. Inspired by nature and ancient myths, she fashions dreamlike works, between poetry and emotion. Awarded a prize by the Académie des Arts-Sciences- Lettres, she invites you to discover her universe, where harmony and delicacy combine for a unique immersion experience.

In 1994, in Nîmes, in the studio of her master, Darbaud, VÉRONIQUE PERSY first learned to model from a live model. She then explored a whole range of techniques, from raku to bronze, but her creations also carry a message... Her current theme: ecological awareness. Her current theme is ecological awareness, and her figures, sometimes half-animal or half-plant, are as bewitching as they are questioning.
