8th Ceramics Biennial
The art of Raku is a rapid firing technique that was developed in Japan in the second half of the 16th century, initiated by Chojiro with the creation of bowls for the tea ceremony.
Fourteen artists will be present to showcase their work, the fruit of their talent and creativity, but also with a touch of surprise, as the art of Raku is not an exact science and the final result of a piece is sometimes down to... luck.
