SILKE SILKEBORG studied art at the College of Fine Arts in Hamburg, Germany (HFBK). Since graduating in 2010, she has been painting only at night. Her works deal with different social themes.
She has exhibited her work in many museums and galleries throughout Europe. In Sanary-sur-Mer, she painted every night the houses of exiled German-speaking writers who lived there between 1930 and 1940. Silke is a committed artist who, through all her nocturnal work, reminds us of the excesses of the past and questions our future.
