From March to May 2024, the painter Djamel Tatah (born in Saint-Chamond in 1959) will be offering a new approach to the whole of the Musée Matisse in Nice.
He has made a subjective selection from the museum's collections of around one hundred graphic works and sculptures by Henri Matisse (1869-1954), spanning the whole of his career, and augmented by exceptional loans from the Institut national d'histoire de l'art (INHA). The exhibition will alternate with some thirty of his own paintings, usually of monumental size, selected from his output over the last twenty years and from both public and private collections.
