Métamorphoses - The "Listening Room" closes the "Re)penser les images" section at the very end of the collections tour, and takes up its new quarters in a room overlooking the Rhône, inviting contemplation and listening.
The Musée Réattu's "Listening Room" is a space dedicated to the dissemination of sound art - the first to be created in an art museum in France, in 2007.

To mark the occasion, the museum has invited sound artist Julie Rousse to present her multi-channel sound installation "Métamorphoses".
This singular work gives voice to the Rhône ecosystem, revealing its phonic (bio)diversity through living sounds, hydrophony and electromagnetic waves. A constantly evolving sound portrait, enriched as the river flows, testifying to the beauty... and fragility of an endangered ecosystem.
Produced by GMEM - Centre national de création musicale, Marseille.

Thursday, January 29 at 6:30 p.m. Special meeting with sound artist Julie Rousse, who will present her work and the piece broadcast in the Chambre d'écoute. Free, by reservation only, before Wednesday January 28 on 04 90 49 37 58 or [email protected]
