Trained as a graphic designer, Jeanne Louise Mathieu has long worked in the
communication. Today, she uses the tools she has mastered to express
her questions about identity.
"Maybe we're not made for just one me. It's wrong to stick to it (...). He's not one me. He is not ten selves. Moi is only a position of equilibrium. Henri Michaux.

What's always crossed my mind is the part played by choice in the construction of our identity.
our identity. The subjects of my compositions interrogate our childhood memories, genealogy, beliefs, dreams, anger... as a revelation of our narrative identity.
My works mix drawings and photos, and are printed on brushed aluminum dibond, leaving the viewer to interpret them.
This exhibition is about our relationship with love, between "it's the meaning of my life", "never again", "for me it's friends"...

I invite everyone to question their relationship with love.
