The second weekend in July marks the launch of the Saint-Eloi festivities. For two days, you're invited to Tende to discover a living heritage and a unique tradition.
Saturday, July 12:
- Opening concert on the organ of the Collégiale Notre-Dame de l'Assomption
- 8:30pm: Benediction of fire in front of the penitents' chapels
- Torchlight procession to Place de la Mairie.
- 10:00 pm: Fireworks fired from the remains of Château Lascaris, followed by a grand ball.
Sunday, July 13 :
- 9:30am: Departure of the cavalcade - Place de la Mairie
- 10:30am: Blessing of the mules and mass -Parvis de la Collégiale
- 12:00 pm: Nomination of new priors by the Mayor - Place de la Mairie
- 12:15pm: Aperitif offered to the public
- Afternoon: entertainment on the Place de la Mairie and under the marquee
