For the last day of the festival, a simple but effective program: Vocal lab workshop, Breton dances, trad dance initiations, breath dances, shared picnic, musical jam at Eygliers lake.
The more detailed program of the VÔcal Lab workshop:
A workshop in traditional Ardèche singing, vocal polyphony and music production! Based on collections from oral tradition, participants will explore a way of interpreting and arranging traditional songs with influences from contemporary music.
Speakers: Agnès Clauzel and Camille Guillemet
This workshop will focus on: learning orally, without scores, to rediscover the spontaneity and lively transmission of folk songs. The practice of polyphony, working on the harmonies and timbre specific to traditional songs. Interpretation and body anchoring, with work on breathing, posture and vocal gesture. Introduction to sampling and musical arrangement using a looper, and beatboxing. Arrangements for the LabÔ Bicouses project, learning versions specially created by the group for the occasion.
No singing experience is required. This workshop is open to all, whether you're a beginner or an experienced singer, with the desire to share a lively, collective musical moment!
