The play features two main characters, a surgeon and his assistant, who must face professional and personal challenges while navigating the unforgiving world of modern surgery. Thierry Harcourt's direction created a tense and captivating atmosphere for the audience. Davy Sardou and Bruno Salomone, deliver remarkable performances in this tour de force where they have to juggle between dramatic and comical scenes. They tackle important themes such as the pressure to perform, human relationships in a demanding professional environment, the ethical consequences of medical advances, and the challenges surgeons face on a daily basis.
The story takes place in a hospital where a surgeon is accused of medical error. He must then fight to prove his innocence and save his career. Guilt, responsibility and medical ethics are explored. The characters are colorful and the dialogue is full of humor and suspense. Au scalpel is an intense and captivating play.

For security reasons, access to the theater during the festival is prohibited for children under 6 years.
