Clovis NICOLAS Quartet feat Leon PARKER -Jeremy PELT
With "The Contrapuntist", Clovis Nicolas set out to compose a series of variations on each of the five movements of his classical work, written this time in his mother tongue, jazz. To bring them to life, Nicolas chose to bring together some of the greatest musicians he has ever had the privilege of playing with.
Trumpeter Jeremy Pelt, with his deep and lyrical style, was an obvious choice. For his concert in Ramatuelle he chose pianist Simona Premazi and Leon Parker. A dream New York quartet.
- Clovis Nicolas -Bass
- Simona Premazi -Piano
- Jeremy Pelt -Trumpet
- Leon Parker -Drums
Chico FREEMAN & Antonio FARAÒ Quartet - Tribute to John Coltrane
Herbie Hancock was stunned the first time he heard Antonio Faraò. The Italian pianist has been touring the international scene for 30 years, playing alongside Jack DeJohnette, Marcus Miller, and Benny Golson. In a quartet with Chico Freeman's saxophone, he pays tribute to one of his main influences: John Coltrane.
- Chico Freeman - Saxophone
- Antonio Farao - Piano
- Philippe Aerts - Double bass
- Benjamin Henocq - Drums
Online ticketing only and on site on show nights (from 7 p.m.)
