Duo 4 hands : Anne Wischik and Emmanuelle Maggesi

Anne Wischik won a gold medal at the Lille Conservatory at the age of 15 and went on to perfect her skills at the Alfred Cortot Normal School in Paris in the classes of Anton Ribicki and Lélia Gousseau. Then, the meeting with Nadine Wright of the European Conservatory, from which several years of interpretation courses will follow, will be decisive in her piano career. Her first solo recital at the age of 18, she performs in a wide variety of formations, with musicians, singers and actors.
In 2009, she started creating musical shows. In 2011, engaged in a season of operettas, she met pianist Emmanuelle Maggesi during a production of The Barber of Seville. Their musical and human osmosis gave birth to their 4-hand piano duo "ClairObscur", which has been touring France and Europe for 10 years.
A student of Patrick Zygmanowski at the Montpellier Conservatory, Emmanuelle Maggesi entered the Lyon National Conservatory of Music and Dance in 2002. She graduated in 2009 with the diplomas of performer, chamber music and teacher. She specialises in contemporary music after working with Jacques Di Donato and Fabrice Pierre. Emmanuelle Maggesi was pianist of the ensemble Les Temps Modernes for 10 years. In 2006 she formed the duo Cthulhu with the percussionist Ying-Hui Wang.
