FULL - The Alpilium cultural department is organising a dance and museum outing on Saturday 28 March.
"The show:
With this creation, the South African dance company aims to highlight the bonds of friendship and solidarity in the struggles of oppressed peoples across borders and cultures. Their reference point is urban and/or traditional dance. ‘Tamujuntu is a manifesto about complicity and recreating things together,’ explains Paulo Azevedo, the choreographer behind the project. The vital energy of pantsula dancers (a dance from the townships) and the raw power of Brazilian hip hopers come together here for a rare and unique show.
The museum:
The Musée de la Camargue, between the Rhône and the Mediterranean, will inevitably reveal treasures hidden behind its reeds. A museum of society, its vocation is to recreate and bear witness to the human works created in this harsh and marvellous environment. An immersion in the Camargue Regional Nature Park that will make you want to come back again and again."
