Come and discover the work of Mo Abbas and Zabou M, author and illustrator of the magazine Tambouille, for which they are in residence in the Roya Valley.
During the month of July 2023, they criss-crossed the Roya Valley, from Breil to Tende, from Saorge to Saint-Dalmas, to meet local residents, workers or pensioners, library users or festival-goers, and share with them, in pictures and words, stories about cooking. Memories, anecdotes, recipes, taste or disgust - anything that can be used as an excuse to tell a story, to tell oneself, to draw, to be drawn, each in their own way and each in their own style.
In this work, they took a back seat, trying to be a bridge, a footbridge, simply being there to facilitate this expression. At the end of the month-long residency, an issue of the culinary magazine Tambouille will be published, due out in autumn 2023.
