Immerse yourself in the world of Italian theater and create your own mask during a day led by visual artist Alaric Chagnard, as part of the Journées Européennes des métiers d'art.

Masks are mysterious objects, at once tools for the actor, works of creation and vehicles for dialogue between cultures. They have crossed centuries and continents.

This workshop invites participants to get their hands dirty and discover the various stages involved in creating a mask. Modeling, working with form and material to produce a prototype in plaster or resin.

This one-day workshop will introduce you to the art of mask-making, and help you to create a form suited to the actor: Harlequin, Pantalone, the Captain...
