An ideal workshop to learn about glass art and leave with your own unique piece, crafted with your own hands, to admire at home or give as a gift! I offer two workshops to choose from:
- Workshop 1:
Create a Tiffany stained glass hanging (mobile type) based on a suggested design or one of your choice. Choose from 4 to 5 pieces of coloured glass.
Workshop duration: approximately 2½ hours. Price: £95.
- Workshop 2:
Create a Tiffany stained glass mirror based on a model of your choice. Choose from 6 to 8 pieces of coloured glass.
Workshop duration: approximately 3 hours. Price: £135.
The introductory workshops take place in several stages:
Choose the model you want to make. I will help you cut the coloured glass using a template, according to your design. Each piece will be carefully ground to fit perfectly with the others before being set with copper ribbon, an iconic technique in Tiffany stained glass. Next comes the soldering stage, where the pieces of glass are joined together to bring your creation to life.
All materials will be provided and you will leave with your own Tiffany stained glass piece, the result of meticulous work and a timeless experience!
