With a world of their own and a distinctive sound, this new trio is characterized above all by its energy and the power that emanates from each of its concerts. Formed around pianist Cyril Benhamou (winner of the 1st Sacem prize for composition at the Concours national de jazz à la Défense), Tie-Break evolves at the frontiers of different musical aesthetics. Indeed, they have integrated today's music and productions (Tigran, Avishaï Cohen, Robert Glasper....) into their respective playing, while keeping a keen ear for tomorrow's sounds...The trio has found its true identity with a unique, solid rhythm section. Gé Gatto and Patrick Ferné provide the essential backdrop for the pianist's outstanding compositions.
