The Jardin du Lautaret reopens its doors for the “Rendez-vous aux jardins,” whose theme this year is “The View.”
Here, at an altitude of 2,100 meters, rock and plant life intertwine to recreate the diversity of mountain landscapes from around the world. Our rock gardens are home to more than 2,000 species of flowers, rooted in the stony soils typical of their native environments: limestone scree, schist scree, siliceous scree, tufa walls, volcanic rock… So many mineral treasures that shape ecosystems and enhance the biodiversity of alpine plants.
Come and explore this unique garden, where stone tells the story of the mountains and every flower reveals a piece of the world.
