In recent years, in a wide variety of countries and contexts, we have seen an increase in military strikes against journalists, political threats to reporters, and harassment and intimidation of the media. These threats seek to silence independent journalism and require both individuals and organizations to develop and deploy plans in response. The strategies for securing journalism and journalists will be at the heart of this discussion.
