Georges will be cycling 4,700 kilometres over 10 weeks without assistance with his little dachshund Ruby in aid of the fight against cancer.
Georges is taking on this challenge to encourage the practice of sport, adapted sport during and after treatment, and also to raise awareness about nutrition.
He will be the symbol of that inner strength that drives us despite all the emotions that overwhelm us when the illness is announced, the ordeal of treatment and the aftermath of cancer: resilience!
Months of physical preparation, logistical optimisation, around 35kgs to carry, 70 days between 75 kms and 125 kms a day!
Departure scheduled for 13 April 2024 in Rives (38) - Arrival in Voiron (38) on 22 June 2024.
Arrival of George and Ruby on 18 June in Briançon, departure on 19 June via the Lautaret and Galibier passes.
