International Folklore Festival "La farandole
The Nice International Folklore Festival, created in 1935, is one of the oldest festivals of its kind in Europe.
It disappeared in 1995 after 60 years of existence, and the City of Nice, as part of its cultural policy, wanted to revive this event, awaited as much by the people of Nice as by tourists and traditional music lovers, in 2017. It has been recognised and labelled by the CIOFF (International Council of Organisations of Folklore Festivals), an official partner of UNESCO.
