Hailed by the press for his natural virtuosity and the maturity of his playing, Jean-Paul Gasparian is a truly outstanding pianist, with a musical heritage shared between the Russian and French schools.
Noted for his recordings of Russian composers on the Evidence label (Rachmaninov, Scriabin, Prokofiev...), it will be on the French music side that the lucky spectators of La Vague Classique will have the chance to hear him: Debussy, Fauré of course, but also the immense Chopin, who left his native Poland for France at the age of twenty.
