For its 18th edition, the Festival de la Camargue takes you all over the Camargue, to the heart of a land shaped by water, wind and life.
The festival will also highlight wetlands and biodiversity, with a focus on the recently signed cooperation between the Camargue Biosphere Reserve and the Ciénaga de Zapata Biosphere Reserve in Cuba.
A gathering to discover, exchange, and take action in support of the living world.
The Camargue Festival is a must-attend event dedicated to nature and biodiversity, held each year in the heart of the Rhône delta. It takes place throughout the Camargue. At the mouth of the Rhône, a “village” brings together activities, workshops, and stands to raise awareness of biodiversity among visitors of all ages.
The festival showcases a unique territory shaped by water, wind, and remarkable wildlife. Over several days, visitors and enthusiasts can enjoy a rich and varied environmental program: exhibitions, conferences, screenings, and debates offer opportunities to explore issues related to preserving the living world.
Numerous guided nature outings provide the chance to explore the region’s marshes, beaches, and protected areas.
The festival also celebrates ornithology, with opportunities to observe emblematic species such as pink flamingos.
