Interview with two of the authors of the book "Un Verdict sans appel", in dialogue with Sébastien Besatti, plaintiff in the V13 trial and author of the book "Qu'est-ce que je faisait là?".
The Arles LDH invites you to a meeting-debate on the trial of the November 2015 attacks
in the presence of two authors of the book "Un verdict sans appel"(Actes Sud editions)
This book offers an unprecedented reading of the trial of the attacks committed in Paris and Saint-Denis in November 2015. Four researchers were present for 148 days. On June 29, 2022, 20 men were found guilty, and 2,318 people confirmed as victims. The verdict was not contested. The trial was seen as exemplary and restorative, yet the analysis here deconstructs what seemed obvious, and raises a number of questions.

Pauline Jarroux has a doctorate in anthropology. Since 2020, she has been working on anti-terrorist justice in France and Benin.

Anne Wyvekens is director of research emeritus at the CNRS. She is a member of the Arles LDH.

Sébastien Besatti, with whom they will be chatting, was a civil party at the trial. He has written a book entitled "Qu'est-ce que je faisais là?" (What was I doing there?), recounting a traumatic experience and an entire process of reconstruction.
