This new program for young audiences features three artists: Pooya Abbassian, Tadzio and Miquel Barceló.
Saturday 21.03.2026: Quicksand
After discovering various metamorphosis phenomena in nature, the Petits Fans practice forming different elements by manipulating sand on a table. Using this material and the stop-motion technique, which they discover through the use of a fun application, the children create several animated volumes. Now they're ready to orchestrate an enchanting collective metamorphosis!
Saturday 04.04.2026: Blowing with canvas
In this workshop, children create different arrangements of shapes and colors on a large canvas, using their breath to shape them. They are inspired by this technique, used by painter Miquel Barceló, to represent a marine world that oscillates between abstraction and figuration.
Saturday 30.05.2026: L'île en l'eau* (Island in the water)
In his series The Isle, Tadzio gathers images of water-damaged surfaces in the Paris metro, from which he creates an imaginary cartography. In this workshop, 8-11 year-olds are invited to pay particular attention to a set of details along a defined route. Using a digital camera, they explore the streets around the museum, exploring questions of distance and scale in the shots they take. Together, they create a series of images that question our perception of reality.
