Since April 2024, the Route des Crêtes, a 14km panoramic road linking Cassis to La Ciotat through the Cap Canaille massif, has been reserved for pedestrians and cyclists every Sunday from midnight to midnight.
Les Crêtes en pleine nature" is an initiative set up by the towns of Cassis and La Ciotat, in collaboration with the Parc National des Calanques, to preserve the environment and promote soft mobility.
This measure aims to reduce noise pollution and protect local biodiversity, while offering visitors a peaceful setting in which to enjoy the exceptional landscapes of the National Park.
