From fever to fire - When the stage becomes an inferno, when art becomes insubordination.
The Théâtre de l'Œuvre opens its doors wide for the very first edition of Déviantes - Festival de Cabarets Queer. Three days in which bodies express themselves, voices are raised and norms are set ablaze. Through cabaret, drag, circus and performance, this inaugural edition promises a surge of emotions and senses.
Why "Les Déviantes"?
Because we believe in being different. Because to deviate is to refuse to follow the beaten path. Because the stage is a space of freedom where identities unfold, collide and celebrate. Les Déviantes is a festival that caresses the margins, where every show is an invitation to question, vibrate, laugh and be moved.
On the program: three evenings of discovery, transgression and shared pleasure with :
- Mutantes and its electrifying drag shows, where lipsync becomes a manifesto and glitter becomes a weapon of resistance.
- Jean Moulin Rouge, master of ceremonies of the Nuits Folles, where burlesque, humor and the art of cabaret intertwine.
- The Fame cabaret offers an experience dripping with glory, a quartet of sensitive, bleeding, hairy and hairy circus artists.
Burlesque, lipsync, acrobatics, parodic misappropriations or bursts of biting humor: each evening will be an opportunity to plunge into the wealth of queer aesthetics carried by these artists. Between self-mockery, political manifesto and unbridled creativity, the festival celebrates free and committed artistic forms, where body and voice never cease to play, disturb and surprise. Join us for three days of queer cabaret in the heart of Marseille. Bring your curiosity, your desire for freedom and your taste for the unexpected. Get ready to discover artists who shake up codes, mix genres and transform the stage into an indocile playground. Three evenings to share moments of complicity and let yourself be carried away by the effervescent creativity of the cabarets that rock the deviant nights.
