Inaugurated on the occasion of the 10th anniversary of the Cargo de Nuit, a Mecca of Arles' nightlife, the Escales have rapidly become a fixture in the Grand Sud.

Created in 2005 to mark the 10th anniversary of the Cargo de Nuit, the festival is now a firm fixture among summer events in the south of France. Open-air concerts, a stunning historical setting and surprising artistic line-ups make Les Escales a truly unique event.
