Pierrette Nouet, tour guide, shares with us her passion for the great figures of ancient history.
From caves to the Renaissance,

In recent years, we've (re)discovered that women can possess undeniable artistic qualities and express creative, innovative ideas in all fields, artistic and otherwise.

This emergence from the obscurity of museum storerooms and the "Hell" of libraries for certain female authors can arouse our curiosity, amuse us and even irritate us when this movement becomes too systematic.

Nonetheless, this momentum reflects our society, with the denunciation of millennia-old patriarchy finding its way into art as well as sport, as evoked by the 2024 Games. Over the past 20 years, our favorites have highlighted the importance of women's role in Antiquity, mythology, the Revolution, etc...

Today, to kick off this new year 2026, we'd like to extend this tribute to all those beautiful women, known and unknown, "ces passantes" as Brassens sang about a poem by Antoine Pol. From prehistoric caves to artificial intelligence.
