In the interests of effective communication, I've been asked to summarize my show. But I can't. I'm incapable of being concise. My friends never ask me "How are you? They know I'll answer.
A jubilant comedy of corruption and imposture. In a remote Russian province, a young con man from Petersburg is mistaken for an Inspector General (a revizor). The Governor and local notables try to conceal the catastrophic management of their city and bribe this stranger to gain his favor.
